Meeting Notice for March 15, 2012

Brian Lawenda returns for the March Meeting. Last month he talked about radiation oncology and this month he will talk about his other specialty ~ integrative oncology. This is a terrific discussion about diet, exercise and the many things we can do to be healthier and better able to tolerate our conventional therapies. We will also discuss proposed format changes for our group as well as the September prostate cancer awareness walk.

Well known prostate cancer pathologist, Dr. Jonathan Oppenheimer will be our guest speaker this month. This is a real treat to be able to get a close up look at how we are diagnosed and given a stage and grade of the disease. Dr. Oppenheimer will be speaking about the changing face of prostate cancer diagnosis and also will show us the art of pathology. Please come and join us for a great session.
